BexaOrg Goes Online in Support of PC4D and Education

On the third anniversary of Puppy GNU Linux, BexaOrg goes online. BexaOrg is part of the growing community of enthusiasts in small-footprint computing. Two communities directly supported the founding of BexaOrg, namely, the Puppy Linux enthusiasts and teachers from the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB).

BexaOrg is focused on knowledge dissemination in innovations in PC4D (PC for Development) and education. The EXA in BexaOrg stands for "Educators and Executives Academy", emphasizing the importance not only of teachers but also of executives in the dissemination of innovations in education. B can be read as "best" - a natural description of highly innovative individuals.

Puppy Linux is a compact build of Linux that runs not only the Linux operating system but also all the software commonly used in everyday work, with developer pages kept by Barry Kauler, Puppy's creator, at puppyOS.com and community pages kept by Puppy Linux enthusiasts at puppylinux.org.

The BexaOrg founders are Dr. Mimosa Ocampo, Professor, University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB), Laurita Arca, teacher of PGMNHS-Annex and pioneer of Eminima, Barry Kauler, creator of Puppy GNU Linux, Michael Barnes, founder of NorhTec, and Raffy Mananghaya, founder of Eminima.
